Family history has been a passion of family historian Cory Bretz since his grandparents and mother passed away. When his own daughter was born he realized he was "The One", the only one who was going to be able to give her a sense of her lineage and what kind of people her family members are. He was his family's "family historian".
While Cory has spent more hours on genealogy than he’d care to admit, he focuses on creating interesting, inspiring, and educational legacy films and books that can be made available right away, ready to be consumed by the very next grandchild or great grandchild born to the family. Those young children form their beliefs about the world and who they are very early so best they are nurtured on stories of real, capable, talented, loving ancestors who did amazing things.
Most often Cory is doing video interviews, designing family history storybooks, or producing life story family history films.
When he’s not doing that he can be found somewhere outdoors playing guitar and singing old ballads.
