Heirloom Films and Storybooks agree to provide the above-noted custom film / video or book services as described in the product description.

The Client agrees that he or she has full legal authority to enter into an Agreement and requires no approval from someone else. The Client agrees to make a first payment to confirm the Agreement and guarantee interview dates, pre-planning, and any research time.

The remaining balance must be paid in full upon the final version link to the video being sent or the book PDFs made available for printing.

Ten (10) days after the client is sent the link to the latest draft version of the film, movie, or book it is considered “Final” and the remaining balance is immediately due unless suggestions for change or correction notes are received by Heirloom Films from the client in that time frame or the client communicates with Heirloom Films to arrange a later date to provide change suggestions.

No refunds are available after services have been rendered. A partial refund may be issued services not yet rendered if a project is canceled or delayed by the client or by Heirloom Films.

Interest of 28% per annum is applied to any balance outstanding beyond 30 days.

Should the client delay or postpone the project for any reason, additional charges may apply.

Significant changes to theme, content, music, recorded interviews, audio, or editing after this initial agreement is signed off and/or after initial recording will add additional charges billed at $185 per hour.

Heirloom Films retains organizational and contextual control of the video storyboard or book outline and contents based on Client’s input.

Additional charges apply for inclusion of additional images, titles, audio, and interview segments.

Additional re-edits can be purchased with an additional agreement.

Heirloom Films may include relevant stock imagery to improve appeal in the absence of more relevant client-provided imagery.

Only royalty-free buyout music or commercial music for which the client holds an appropriate license or copyright will be included in films and movies.

Only rights-free creative commons or imagery for which the client owns the rights or a license will be included in book or film projects.

Client agrees to release Heirloom Films and Cory Bretz from liability should they be unsatisfied with contents gathered during interviews since Heirloom Films doesn’t control what interviewees choose to say.

Raw, unedited footage and recordings remain the property of Heirloom Films.

The final film and book PDFs are downloadable and the client is advised to save all downloaded files to their own storage device. No tangible storage device or printed materials are included in projects.

Client agrees to instruct their Executor or Representative or Person with Power of Attorney to complete this project and the payment schedule should serious illness or death occur.

Client agrees to pay a $250 cancellation fee if canceling or postponing any session with less than 24 hours advance notice.

The Client agrees to grant to Heirloom Films public performance rights for some portions of their project for the purpose of services demonstration including device, website, and social media.

The Client owns all other rights to the item once paid in full.

All additional approved expenses for but not restricted to telephone calls, travel, accommodation, equipment rentals, per diem, shipping, and parking will be added to the final balance.
